Hocus Focus Bacopa Chai

$20.00

My best selling tea blend! This isn’t your average Chai. Yes it still contains the familiar & favorite organic spices: Ginger, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg, and Allspice. However I make things a bit more exciting with the addition of Red Rooibos, Reishi Mushroom, and Bacopa.

Red Rooibos (also known as “red bush tea”) is made from the fermented leaves of the Aspalathus linearis shrub. Reddish in color, it provides a sweet, earthy flavor and is naturally caffeine-free. This special plant contains antioxidants, increases levels of leptin, has been linked to lowered blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and contains potassium, iron, calcium, and magnesium. Not bad, egh?

Most people have heard of Reishi mushroom by this point. Being a fall blend, I definitely wanted to include this immune amphoteric in my blend. Not only does this stellar shroom nourish the immune reservoir, but it also helps protect the liver, nervous system, and contains powerful antioxidants that can help us through fall and winter months.

The last addition is Bacopa monnieri to be exact. This herb is very effective at easing anxiety and irritability, and helping us to maintain attention. Bacopa is also a renowned nootropic. Nootropics can improve human thinking, learning, and memory, especially in cases where these functions are impaired. Bacopa also stimulates thyroid function and can be helpful in cases of hypothyroidism. Definitely research this herb if you haven’t. It’s quite amazing!

So you see, this ain’t juuuuust some regular chai. Also, how awesome is the name of it now that you know what it can do?! You can thank Taj for that one. Twas his handiwork. Anyhow, I hope you all love this fall classic with a modern twist as much as I do! Here’s to sweater weather!

Each bag contains 10 generously filled eco brown unbleached or treated teabags. Re-brew for CERTAIN, and get 20 cups of tea out of this bag! I like to brew each bag with twice the water, and save the second half for later/re-heat when I’m ready.

Contraindications: Anticholinergic drugs, Cholinergic drugs, Drugs changed by the liver, overactive Thyroid.
