California Poppy (Eschscholtzia californica) is a useful sedative, anxiolytic, and antispasmodic which has been worked with to help ease nervous headache, muscle pain, and sleeplessness due to pain and anxiety.
St. John’s Wort has broad spectrum anti-inflammatory activity, is a trophorestorative to the nervous system, and has been worked with to ease both muscle soreness and nerve pain.
White Willow Bark (Salix alba): Contains salicin, an asprin-like chemical that has been worked with to help joint and back pain, and even headaches. Unlike asprin, Willow Bark does NOT thin the blood or cause gastric bleeding.
